Here’s a great idea for quick styling – use Paper
Tearing Templates! These templates provide you with a fast and easy
technique for accenting pages. You can add torn paper shapes to
scrapbook pages, cards and paper projects for an easy artistic accent.
Once you’ve tried one, you will want to add the entire line of templates
to your scrapbooking supplies.
Each template is made from durable aluminum and
comes in a variety of shapes. The technique is easy to learn:
·
Simply position the template over a sheet of paper. Hold
it firmly with one hand.
·
With your free hand, pull the paper UP again st the
tearing teeth, using short, quick motions.
·
Continue this action around the scrapbooking supplies
template until your shape is complete.
·
You can ease the tearing motion by dampening the paper
around the edges with a wet paintbrush.
In addition to scrapbook pages, these templates are
great for making cards. Using the star template, begin by tearing
several large and small star shapes from yellow paper. Obtain some
chalk from your scrapbooking supplies and chalk the outside edges of the
torn shapes as desired. Attach gold eyelets to the top of each shape.
With a gold metallic marker, draw squiggle star shapes onto ivory
cardstock. Cut to fit front of an ivory greeting card. Edge with a
gold marker and attach to card with an eyelet at each end. Attach gold
floss from your scrapbooking supplies to the stars and attach to the
card with glue dots. Beautiful!!
